Museum Project Maquettes

My idea for the museum project was to add transfer pictures of Plymouth onto plain slip casted copies of the porcelain collection in the museum. 

These are some examples that I made using plates that I got from a charity shop. I manipulated my digital photographs so they were able to be transferred onto a screen to then screen printed. I printed onto transfer paper using a medium suitable for ceramics and a blue stain to get the colour.

These were created by just experimenting with the way that I finishing of edges whilst used the press mould during a repeat forms module. I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome.
